Adam and Eve: Books I and II

Edited into 21st Century American English

These two books were translated by Rutherford H. Platt, Jr. in 1926, in a volume called, "The Forgotten Books of Eden." The books date back before the birth of Christ, but it is of unknown origin or author, though they are quoted from in the Talmud and Koran. They are called pseudepigrapha, meaning they were written explicitly making a false claim of authorship. The primary subject is the lives of Adam and Eve from the fall until much later, and what may have taken place after they left the garden, along with their children. Satan is a central character, showing the deceitful manner in which he leads people astray.
